Postada no Twitter por seu companheiro de time, o capitão Carles Puyol, gerou dúvidas quanto à sua autenticidade. O zagueiro, que a introduziu com o seguinte comentário: “Tb de portero? Increíble…” (também como goleiro? incrível), garantiu que a imagem é verdadeira, depois de receber várias mensagens questionando se é realmente La Pulga quem aparece espalmando a bola com tanta precisão.
