Porém, nem o pior dos monstros merece ser abandonado à morte sem cuidados médicos, ainda mais numa democracia. Trata-se, porém, do que aconteceu, pelo menos de acordo com as revelações trazidas hoje pelo jornal “Perfil”, por meio da coluna do jornalista Nelson Castro. Também médico, ele analisou depoimento de colegas de cárcere e os boletins oficiais sobre a morte do militar.

Consta que Videla havia caído no banheiro, enquanto tomava uma ducha, cinco dias antes.
