Que a temperatura política da Argentina é alta, isso não é nenhuma novidade. Mas há momentos em que o termômetro parece indicar um episódio febril intenso, e é o caso agora, justamente quando a temperatura começa a cair radicalmente, anunciando o começo do inverno no Rio da Prata.

2013 será um ano eleitoral. Em outubro, os argentinos votarão para renovar parte do Congresso. Será uma eleição importante, na qual o kirchnerismo, com a popularidade em queda, tentará manter a contundente maioria que possui no Senado e na Câmara de Deputados. Uma derrota aí pode significar dificuldade para aprovar os projetos de Cristina. Uma vitória alentará a esperança de mudar a Constituição e almejar um terceiro mandato da atual presidente.

A chegada desse momento aguça as ações dos dois lados. Do lado do governo, há uma correria para aprovar leis e passar medidas enquanto o cenário político é favorável. A mais polêmica delas foi a reforma do Judiciário, que irá politizar a escolha dos representantes dos juízes e reduzir a participação dos vinculados a outras vertentes políticas que não o kirchnerismo. Causando ampla resistência de setores da sociedade e ampla repercussão negativa internacionalmente, a reforma passou e já é uma realidade.

Nesta semana, o governo começou a correria para aprovar outra lei polêmica, a que anistia pessoas que evadiram ilegalmente dólares clandestinos do país. O mecanismo permitirá que indivíduos que abriram contas em paraísos fiscais das formas mais diversas possíveis, lícitas ou ilícitas, não terão de prestar contas sobre como ganharam esse dinheiro, muito menos como fizeram para tirá-los do país. Para os kirchneristas, essa é uma maneira de trazer dinheiro para investimentos no país e promover o “crescimento com inclusão social”. Para os críticos da nova medida, apenas uma grande desculpa para safar de punição empresários amigos do governo, narcotraficantes e outros indivíduos que não cumprem a lei.

Do lado da oposição, também há muita movimentação. A principal delas é do Grupo Clarín, que colocou seu exército na rua para atacar o governo, contra quem está enfrentado desde 2009. Sua principal arma é o excelente jornalista Jorge Lanata, o mais importante do país, que tem em seu passado um currículo importante como criador do jornal “Página12” e uma intensa campanha de exposição dos casos de corrupção e descaminhos do governo Menem.

Em seu programa dos domingos à noite, “Periodismo Para Todos”, já mencionado várias vezes neste blog, Lanata tem explorado um caso de lavagem de dinheiro que envolve altos funcionários do governo, o casal Kirchner, empresários santacruzenhos e gente do mundo das celebridades. Uma mistura de escândalo político com farândula, bem ao gosto argentino.

A oposição política, propriamente dita, porém, segue apática. A poucos meses da eleição, nenhum nome de fôlego surgiu ou impôs presença. Quem mais tem se mobilizado a transformar as denúncias em causas judiciais é Elisa Carrió, da Coalizão Cívica, um nome já manjado do cenário, importante com certeza, mas incapaz de amealhar grande quantidade de votos. Por outro lado, Maurício Macri, o prefeito de Buenos Aires postulante ao cargo de presidente em 2015, se desgasta ao mandar a polícia reprimir duramente uma confusão no hospital psiquiátrico Borda. E seu outro concorrente, Daniel Scioli, segue em cima do muro aproveitando em parte sua proximidade com a presidente e tentando marcar alguma diferença quando possível.

Enquanto isso, os argentinos comuns só têm uma obsessão, o dólar paralelo, que já está 100% mais caro que o oficial. Com isso, o mercado imobiliário desabou, e os “arbolitos” e “cuevas” são os mais procurados pela população. Todos querem fazer seu dinheiro valer o máximo possível, num cenário de inflação galopante.

A julgar por esse começo de outono, os próximos cinco meses serão intensos por aqui e marcarão o fim ou a renovação do kirchnerismo, além de determinar o novo papel da imprensa nessa sociedade. E quem tiver dólares que os segure!
