Antes de mais nada, esclareço. Adoro futebol. Corintiana desde criança. Admiradora histórica do Real Madrid. Fã do Sócrates, do Zico e do Ronaldo. Quando estou em Sampa, adoro ir ao Pacaembu. Além dos estádios da cidade, já vi jogos no Santiago Bernabeu, em Madri, no Maracanã, em Wembley, na Inglaterra, no estádio da Luz, em Portugal, e outros tantos no Monumental de Nuñez e na Bombonera, aqui em Buenos Aires.

Mas, tenho de confessar, na última semana, o futebol, ou melhor, a futebolização das coisas, me cansou um pouco. Primeiro, durante minha estada nas ilhas Malvinas, das quais sou cada vez mais fã, mas que se encontravam em clima de “Fla-Flu” total. Os “kelpers”, eufóricos de nacionalismo, exibiam suas bandeiras britânicas e coloriam-se de azul e vermelho. Mas, por outro lado, foi um alívio estar isolada numa ilha do Atlântico enquanto acompanhava, via mídia e redes sociais, principalmente, brasileiros e argentinos se insultando _sim, porque essas brincadeiras são insultos_ mutuamente. Mais do que nunca, detrás da provocação: “mas quem é melhor, Pelé ou Maradona?”, o que se esconde é um profundo desconhecimento de um país em relação a outro. E um desinteresse proporcional.
