Não tem sido raro encontrar vozes na Argentina de hoje que veem uma “cubanização” do país. Deixadas de lado as diferenças de contexto histórico e de projetos políticos, o regime cubano e o kirchnerismo têm um ponto em comum muito forte. Ambos têm fechado o país para fora e obrigado seus habitantes a não conhecer mais do que o exemplar nacional de cada produto, quando não simplesmente lidar com a total ausência deste.

Desde que Cristina fechou o país para importações, reforçada por um contundente discurso nacionalista, na Argentina hoje não se encontram itens dos mais variados. Fraldas, chocolate, livros, cosméticos, wasabi, remédios (alguns até para tratamento de doenças graves, como o câncer), cuecas, roupas de grife, fio dental e até rodas de carro –provocando uma onda de assaltos só para abastecer esse mercado – são apenas alguns itens de uma imensa lista.

Na última semana, o governo “propôs” aos donos de supermercados que não aceitem mais cartões de crédito, preferindo um cartão especial que será emitido pelo Banco Nación apenas para essa finalidade.

Mas me senti vivendo em Cuba mesmo hoje, quando peguei um avião da estatal Aerolíneas Argentinas em Buenos Aires, com destino Río Gallegos. Não foi só a ineficiência dessa bandeira que me impressionou. Nas mãos do grupo militante La Cámpora por razões políticas e numa situação financeira catastrófica, a Aerolíneas não é nem sombra da sofisticada companhia na qual eu viajava à Argentina quando era criança.

Hoje seus voos atrasam, o serviço de bordo é sofrível, com a mesma barrinha de cereal sendo sua refeição mesmo que você viaje tanto ao Uruguai (meia hora de voo) como a Ushuaia, no extremo sul do país.

O mais impressionante, porém, é que, na Aerolíneas, o discurso kirchnerista está em TODOS os canais de entretenimento de bordo com os quais contam as aeronaves.

Você pensa que na Aerolíneas pode encontrar uma série da HBO, um dos indicados ao Oscar, um episódio manjado de “House” ou um programa de notícias, como em qualquer companhia aérea do mundo? Não. As opções que surgem quando você clica: “vídeo” são todas nacionais, populares e edificantes.

É o caso da série “Huellas de un Siglo”, que conta a formação política e social argentina de uma perspectiva peronista. Ou os capítulos “Presidentes”, pequenas biografias de mandatários, cujo legado aparece já pre-julgados pela ideologia vigente. Também há o “País Paisaje”, elogiando a natureza local, e programas de entrevistas. O mais governista deles é o do historiador Felipe Pigna, entre outras coisas autor de uma biografia de “Evita” e que divide a história do país entre heróis populares e heróis liberais. Em seu “talk show”, ele conversa com Charly García, roqueiro cooptado pelo kirchnerismo, que cantou o hino nacional no dia da posse de Cristina.

Está achando meio “too much”? Mas é, o pequeno aparato de entretenimento de bordo é um poderoso veículo de propaganda do discurso oficial.

Claro, acaba reunindo coisas de qualidade, como o filme “Revolución – Cruce de los Andes”, que conta a história da batalha final de San Martín, ou “Belgrano”, a cinebiografia do prócer da independência. Ambos entram aí, porém, apenas porque seu exemplo foi incorporado e adaptado à ideologia vigente, passando por cima de todas as nuances e anacronismo, mais ou menos como o chavismo fez com Simón Bolívar.

A Argentina não é Cuba, nem Cristina é Fidel, mas em alguns quesitos, as semelhanças são imensas. Em vez de espelhar-se nas coisas positivas do regime do arquipélago, o kirchnerismo revive seus elementos mais primitivos, como o isolamento e o discurso nacionalista em sua forma mais primitiva.
