Cristina está de luto desde outubro de 2010. Desde então não tirou o preto, nem deixou de lembrar, sempre que fala da morte, de seu marido Néstor Kirchner (1950-2010), que partiu nessa ocasião, devido a um infarto. Caso crônico de impossibilidade de superar o luto, Cristina se aferrou a essa perda também por conveniência política. Ela lhe serve porque a permite usá-la para defender-se toda vez que alguém lhe pede Justiça por alguma morte brutal. “Eu sei o que é perder alguém”, retribui a presidente, sempre que alguém a tenta comover com uma história triste que necessita da ação do governo e da Justiça para ser reparada. Além disso, transformar-se numa viúva eterna e dedicada, pelo menos até aqui, tem valido sua popularidade e uma eleição com 54% dos votos dos argentinos.

Porém, dois episódios ocorridos na última semana demonstraram que Cristina talvez não saiba o que é realmente uma perda. Mais, é incapaz de reconhecer o papel do Estado diante de uma tragédia que tem razões políticas e que pela qual o governo deve se responsabilizar, em maior ou menor grau. Em relação a essas duas passagens, Cristina tem dado as respostas mais equivocadas e desastradas possíveis.

O primeiro deles foi o atentado contra a associação judaica AMIA, que ocorreu em 18 de julho de 1994. Outro, o fatal acidente de trem do Once, em que 52 pessoas perderam a vida. O ataque à AMIA ocorreu durante a gestão de Carlos Menem (1989-1999), acusado de encobrir evidências e responsabilidades. Em quase 20 anos, as investigações avançaram pouquíssimo. Foi reconhecido que há uma ligação entre os responsáveis e o Irã. Ninguém, porém, foi ainda condenado.

No último mês, o governo celebrou a assinatura de um acordo com o Irã que viabilizaria interrogatório e acesso às fontes de investigação. O tratado, porém, tem sido amplamente rejeitado pelas organizações de familiares das 85 vítimas e pela oposição. O argumento é que o mesmo favorece o Irã, dá imunidade a vários suspeitos, beneficia aos iranianos nos interrogatórios e cria uma Comissão da Verdade em que o Irã poderia barrar muitos pedidos da Argentina. Para essas entidades, o acordo é garantia de que o crime nunca mais será resolvido e de que a verdade nunca surgirá. O tratado foi aprovado pelo Senado na última quinta e agora passará à Câmara dos Deputados, se passar aí, na próxima quarta-feira, será transformado em lei.

A razão pela qual Cristina o defende e garantirá seu cumprimento é puramente política. A presidente crê numa nova ordem mundial em que países como Argentina e Irã estarão na linha de frente. Além disso, é uma oportunidade mais para expressar seu anti-imperialismo. A aliança com o Irã, em sua opinião, pode render-lhe dividendos geopolíticos. O respeito à dor dos familiares mortos, nesse caso, não a comove nem um pouco.

Já o outro episódio está relacionado à sua gestão diretamente. Na última sexta-feira, completou um ano a tragédia do Once. Terrível acidente de trem numa das estações mais movimentadas de Buenos Aires, deixou 52 mortos e mais de 300 feridos. Foi provocado, aparentemente, pela falha dos freios de um trem, que chocou com a plataforma da estação.

Na época, Cristina teve uma reação medrosa e silenciosa. Em vez de estar presente e dizer algo, refugiou-se na Patagônia, deixou queimarem-se funcionários do governo, como o secretário de Transportes Juan Pablo Schiavi, depois saiu culpando o empresário que ganhou a concessão da linha, como se o Estado não tivesse de monitorar o manejo da mesma.

O aniversário da tragédia parou Buenos Aires. Pela manhã, num ato cheio de críticas à Cristina, familiares recordaram seus mortos na estação do Once. Foi lido um documento que tratava o ocorrido como um “crime social”, causado pela corrupção no sistema de concessões e pela ausência do Estado.

No dia anterior, Cristina mencionara o episódio em um discurso, mas suas frases impactaram de forma muito negativa. Novamente, ela disse saber o que sentiam as famílias porque também havia perdido “alguém querido”. Depois, acrescentou que as mesmas deveriam de certa forma consolar-se, porque “a vida é feita de alegrias e tristezas”. As palavras de Cristina foram interpretadas pelos familiares e manifestantes, que lotaram a Praça de Maio na sexta à noite, como hipócritas e covardes.

O governo kirchnerista permitiu avanços inegáveis no que diz respeito ao julgamento de militares envolvidos nos crimes da ditadura militar nos anos 70. Porém, o uso político que se faz desse resultado é escandaloso e exagerado. Soa ainda mais descabido quando os direitos humanos de mortos e familiares de episódios mais recentes, como os da tragédia do Once (52 pessoas) e da AMIA (85), são desrespeitados publicamente.

Não seria a hora de uma presidente responsável superar seu próprio luto e passar a olhar com mais seriedade para as mortes pelas quais o Estado argentino ainda deve dar respostas?
