“Tesis” tem um bom roteiro e um bom argumento. Darín é Roberto, um advogado que dá aulas num concorrido seminário na faculdade de direito. Sua especialidade é o direito criminal e sua “tese” é a de que um crime se revela nos detalhes. Entre seus alunos na atual temporada, está Gonzalo (Alberto Amman), um arrogante jovem talento que se diverte armando ciladas retóricas para o mestre.
Eis que, no meio de uma das aulas, um brutal assassinato ocorre nas ruas. Uma jovem que trabalhava no café em frente é morta, e o assassino deixa uma mensagem: “Morte a mulheres como ela”.
