A Argentina é um país sem problemas. Não, não há 8 milhões de pobres (21% da população). Nem falta de liberdade de imprensa. Nem fome crônica nas províncias do norte ou gente sem calefação no sul que sai saqueando supermercados por falta de recursos. As exportações vão muito bem e o investimento estrangeiro está batendo recordes. Não faltam dólares e não há dívida causada pela falta de energia.

Claro, se esses problemas fossem verdadeiros, seria inimaginável ver a presidente da República sair respondendo uma entrevista dada a uma revista de baixa circulação. Tampouco se veria o principal ator argentino fazendo quase que uma apologia à polarização de seu país. Menos ainda um veterano das telas xingando o colega de “pelotudo” e ignorante.

Mas, infelizmente, sim, tudo isso vem acontecendo desde o último sábado, quando a revista “Brando” publicou uma entrevista com Ricardo Darín, o astro-mor de vários filmes exitosos, como “O Segredo de Seus Olhos” e “Um Conto Chinês”, fazendo críticas ao modo de ser dos argentinos e ao kirchnerismo. Apesar de concordar com várias coisas que ele disse, não posso deixar de lamentar seu tom agressivo, conclamando à divisão do país em, como ele disse: “torcedores do Boca e torcedores do River”.

Como se sua exposição não fosse lamentável, no dia seguinte nada menos que a presidente saiu a responder-lhe. Incomodada com a acusação que o ator lhe fez de enriquecimento ilícito, Cristina retrucou dizendo que Darín também tinha problemas com a Justiça e que por isso devia calar-se, e que a Argentina sob seu comando era um exemplo de democracia.

Ontem, no fim do dia, foi a vez do veterano Federico Luppi (“Lugares Comuns” e “Machuca”). Perdendo de vez a compostura, chamou Darín de “pelotudo” e elogiou a presidente, colocando em evidência o sistema de compra de apoio de artistas armado pelo kirchnerismo.

Poucas coisas poderiam ser mais prejudiciais à Argentina num momento como esse do que ver estrelas de cinema, talentos locais, e nada menos que a presidente da República, chamando o país a dividir-se ainda mais.
