Darín sem travas na língua

O ator-símbolo do cinema argentino dos dias de hoje, protagonista de quatro em cada cinco grandes filmes nacionais na última década, virou notícia nos últimos dias não por seus dotes cinematográficos. Darín falou à revista “Brando” sobre política e sobre o jeito de ser dos argentinos. Foi crítico ao governo, mas elogiou algumas iniciativas, como a Lei de Mídia. O mais delicado, porém, foi o que disse sobre a Argentina de hoje, que vive um momento de enfrentamento, polarização da sociedade e de um suposto jeito de ser nacional em que predomina o impulso para tirar vantagem de tudo e ver a desgraça alheia.

As redes sociais deram ampla repercussão às declarações de Darín, para quem a Argentina é um “país-criança”, em que os cidadãos precisam ser levados pela mão por um grande líder. Sobre o governo, criticou o pensamento único. “Não nos permitem pensar fora do estabelecido. Te dizem o que pensar e em que direção. Se não está de acordo, você é um filho da puta.” E reforçou que a história da Argentina está dividida entre Boca e River. Os que não pensam como você são o inimigo. “E o inimigo não tem de ser vencido, mas sim eliminado, isso me assusta”.

Há muito para refletir a partir de suas palavras. O que mais impressiona, porém, é que sua linguagem e os termos que usa são tão agressivos como o daqueles que criticam por fomentar a divisão do país. Generalizações às vezes ajudam a compreender uma situação e a trazer elementos para o debate. Mas a entrevista de Darín não vai além disso, e fica a sensação de que também o ator está escolhendo também seu lado no Boca x River, além de soar de péssimo gosto a frase em que diz que este é um país-criança.

Não é de hoje que se tem sentido falta dos artistas e intelectuais no debate sobre o kirchnerismo. Em sua maioria beneficiados por leis e patrocínios volumosos, os atores e diretores de cinema, principalmente, têm ficado distante das discussões e preferindo evitar confronto. Agora, pelo menos Darín mostrou a cara. Uma pena que tenha se deixado levar por um rancor banal e maniqueísta.
