O último domingo foi de festa para o futebol argentino. Pela primeira vez desde que o River Plate voltou à primeira divisão, teve lugar o embate mais tradicional do Rio da Prata, o clássico Boca x River.

O jogo terminou empatado em 2 a 2 e foi transmitido por algumas televisões abertas, todas repassando o sinal do programa Futebol para Todos, da TV Pública. Paixão nacional, o futebol na Argentina também entrou no jogo político, e ver a partida sem reparar nas inúmeras propagandas do governo veiculadas durante seus 90 minutos era quase impossível.

Desde 2009, os torneios de futebol de primeira e segunda divisão, bem como as partidas da seleção argentina e os esportes olímpicos com a presença de atletas nacionais encontram-se “estatizados”.

O que no início tinha um princípio nobre –transferir a transmissão dos canais a cabo, inacessíveis a muitos, para os abertos, em alta definição– hoje se transformou em mais uma maneira de o Estado fazer anúncios de sua gestão e promover suas políticas.

Tudo começou em agosto de 2009, quando o governo pagou à AFA (Associação do Futebol Argentino) 600 milhões de pesos. O dinheiro, associado a uma manobra política, fizeram com que os direitos de transmissão dos campeonatos locais passassem do grupo Clarín (eram transmitidos pelo canal pago TyC) para a TV Pública.  

Desde então, essa é a emissora que transmite os jogos, sendo que outros canais podem comprar direitos mas têm de respeitar o pacote oferecido pelo Futebol para Todos, ou seja, os comentários e as propagandas originais. A publicidade oficial é agressiva, e os intervalos são usados para transmitir spots relacionados às batalhas do governo. O mais recente foi o que propagava o chamado “7D”, atacando o Clarín e chamando-o a enquadrar-se à Lei de Mídia.

Nos últimos três anos, o governo já injetou 4 bilhões de pesos no programa, e o orçamento para o ano que vem é, nada menos, que 72% mais alto do que o atual.

Não por acaso, os nomes dos torneios também foram se metamorfoseando. O tradicional torneio clausura de 2011 foi batizado de “taça Néstor Kirchner”, enquanto o abertura de 2012 virou “taça Eva Perón”. O nome do prêmio da temporada recebeu o título de “Evita Capitana”.

Aos poucos, o Futebol para Todos vem se tornando um poderoso braço do aparato de propaganda da Secretaria de Meios do governo. O escândalo fala por si só, o fato de o Estado colocar tanto dinheiro num negócio que já deveria ser lucrativo por natureza torna-se gritante num país com tantas carências. Sem opção, os torcedores argentinos têm de se submeter a assistir jogos coalhados de anúncios sobre os feitos do governo.

Já se foi o tempo em que o esporte se prestava a fins de propaganda nacionalista, vide os tempos do stalinismo. Submeter os torcedores argentinos a algo parecido, em pleno século 21, é no mínimo abusivo e antidemocrático.
