Depois pediu que ele repetisse a pergunta. Como o menino estava nervoso e demorou para dizer algo, Cristina riu dele: “Ah, você não se lembra?”.

Todo o episódio repercutiu amplamente nos meios argentinos. Os governistas dizendo que os estudantes haviam sido manipulados pelos grandes meios, que jornalistas opositores haviam pressionado os estudantes para fazerem as perguntas. A mídia opositora reforçou a brutalidade das respostas de Cristina e sua postura autoritária com relação aos garotos.
