A última noite do #yosoy132

“Queremos escolas, não telenovelas”. Milhares de jovens carregando velas cercaram a sede da Televisa, maior conglomerado televisivo do México no fim da noite de ontem para protestar e pedir a democratização dos meios de comunicação. Do lado de dentro das grades, seguranças e oficiais da polícia observavam a movimentação.

Convocada pelas redes sociais, a última marcha do movimento “#yosoy132” enfrentou a recomendação das autoridades eleitorais mexicanas de que não houvesse manifestações durante o fim de semana, quando estão proibidas as ações de campanha.

Os jovens, que se opõem à eleição do candidato do PRI, Enrique Peña Nieto, reuniram-se às 18h (20h em Brasília), em Tlatelolco, onde em 1968 o governo priísta ordenou a repressão de uma manifestação estudantil, causando cerca de mil mortos. A marcha de ontem foi menos alegre e colorida que as anteriores. Começou com um clima circunspecto, com os animadores lembrando, pelo megafone, os acontecimentos daquela noite.

Dali, os jovens seguiram marchando pelo Paseo de la Reforma. Havia faixas fazendo alusão ao massacre de Atenco, pelo qual Peña Nieto é responsabilizado, muitas contra a Televisa, outras com emblemas revolucionários, com referências a Che Guevara e Emiliano Zapata. Alguns usavam nariz de palhaço, muitos com camisetas e faixas com alusão ao movimento amarradas na testa ou no pescoço. Outros, o cabelo engomado da mesma maneira como usa o candidato do PRI.

Por volta das 22h, a marcha atingiu o Zócalo, principal praça da cidade, no coração do centro histórico. Sem cobertura televisiva, a manifestação foi acompanhada pelo Twitter e virou “trending topic” rapidamente. Comentários, fotos postadas praticamente em tempo real, e convocatória para as ações do dia de hoje. Os jovens dizem que vão monitorar a votação e a apuração, e de fato conseguiram autorização da entidade eleitoral para acompanhar de perto o processo. O dia da eleição amanhece com um dos atores políticos bastante animado.

Two tours in Nam;Okinawa before it went back to Japan as well after. and other far eastern countries then i went across the pond and served in Germany and travel a little and found if you showed respect it was returned . But you also had some that didn’t care for us and no matter what you did it didn’t change. But I also meant an older couple that told me to my face that American are lazy and are not trust worthy He was a brown shirt during the war and a Russian POW his wife still thought Hitler was the man so I do know that we are not perfect but I hate to say our biggest problem is the failure of parent don’t teach respect and does not require it now a day so what do you expect our young and there young to do but show there lack of education.
