Revivendo “Fuckland”

E o anúncio publicitário que o governo argentino divulgou nesta semana que mostra um atleta treinando nas ilhas Malvinas (Falklands , para os ingleses) continua tendo repercussão.

O spot causou polêmica por trazer o jogador de hóquei Fernando Zylberberg correndo em cenários de guerra no arquipélago. Os “kelpers” (habitantes das ilhas) se revoltaram com o que consideraram uma provocação. O atleta e a equipe de filmagem se fizeram passar por participantes de uma maratona para entrar nas Malvinas e rodaram o filme de forma clandestina.

Ontem, a agência contratada para realizar o anúncio, a Young & Rubicam, pediu desculpas publicamente por ter ofendido os habitantes das ilhas e os ingleses e agora quer que o governo argentino retire o comercial do ar.

A produção foi realizada pela Fly Films, de José Luis Marqués e Horácio Ciancia, os mesmos que, em 1999, filmaram o divertido “Fuckland”, também de forma escondida, nas Malvinas.

Vale lembrar a produção, que circulou em festivais internacionais e mostra um sujeito determinado a recuperar as ilhas de um modo inusitado. Ele entra no território e passa a tentar conquistar as mulheres locais. A ideia é engravidar o máximo delas possível, para povoar o local de argentinos.

Enquanto a película era uma aventura cinematográfica criativa, porém, o comercial é um assunto mais delicado. O governo argentino está sendo cobrado por ter gravado um filme de forma clandestina e estar divulgando-o mesmo ferindo suscetibilidades de outros países.

Para quem achava que a discussão sobre as ilhas Malvinas tinha terminado, depois do aniversário de 30 anos do conflito, uma decepção. O assunto volta a ganhar espaço e a reavivar os ânimos.
