Escobar agora está buscando fazer acordos com produtores independentes para que lancem suas obras a partir do Cuevana e diz que quer apenas democratizar a distribuição de cultura na rede. Com a grande audiência do site, tornou-se uma plataforma atraente para cineastas e artistas.

Enquanto isso, “vamos ver cuevana” virou uma expressão comum entre adolescentes, que elegem conectar-se ao site nos sábados à noite, para ver um montão de capítulos de seriados numa maratona, e de graça. Escobar, por sua vez, estampa capas de revistas e virou um herói em tempos de discussão de restrições na internet. Resta saber até quando vão deixar que seu reinado continue.
