Morrissey e Waters: as Malvinas são argentinas

Primeiro foi o ator norte-americano Sean Penn. Em visita a Buenos Aires, criticou o colonialismo inglês e deu seu apoio à Argentina na sua luta por recuperar a soberania das ilhas Malvinas.

Depois, o mundo do showbiz voltou a se pronunciar sobre o assunto, com o roqueiro britânico Roger Waters. No Chile para uma turnê latino-americana, o ex-Pink Floyd disse nesta semana em entrevista a um meio local que que “as Malvinas são argentinas”. E complementou: “Em 1982, a guerra das Malvinas salvou a carreira política da primeira-ministra Margaret Thatcher, mas matou a muitos britânicos e argentinos”.

E agora foi a vez do também britânico Morrissey, em show realizado em Córdoba, que disse: “Nós todos sabemos que as Malvinas pertencem à Argentina. Não culpem o povo inglês.”

A um mês da celebração dos 30 anos da Guerra das Malvinas, que ocorreu de maio a junho de 1982, Cristina ganha uma trilha sonora de peso para sua campanha.
