O general argentino Jorge Rafael Videla, 86, que cumpre pena de prisão perpetua por crimes de lesa humanidade, disse em entrevista à revista “Cambio16”, da Espanha, no último domingo, que o atual governo da Argentina está provocando uma “vingança” e não fazendo justiça.

O militar, conhecido por ter sido um dos mais cruéis da ditadura argentina (1976-1983), refere-se aos julgamentos em massa que vem sido promovidos pela gestão Cristina Kirchner, levando ao banco dos réus oficiais de diversas patentes que estiveram envolvidos no processo.

Videla diz que considera os julgamentos parciais, e que o “outro lado”, ou seja, os crimes cometidos pela guerrilha, deveriam também ser julgados. Mostrou-se orgulhoso do papel que exerceu, e não aparentou nenhum arrependimento com relação às torturas e mortes causadas em sua gestão. Segundo organizações de direitos humanos, 30 mil pessoas morreram devido às ações do Estado contra a população durante a ditadura militar.
