Sean Penn e as Malvinas

O ator norte-americano Sean Penn (“A Árvore da Vida” e “Milk”) reuniu-se hoje com a presidente Cristina Kirchner em Buenos Aires. Apesar de estar no país como embaixador itinerante do Haiti, Penn referiu-se ao tema das Malvinas, que classificou como sensível, e ressaltou que apóia a resolução do conflito por meios diplomáticos.

De terno e exibindo o charmoso bigodinho, o ator falou ao lado do chanceler Hector Timerman. Disse que não se poderia “tolerar no mundo de hoje enfoques ridiculamente arcaicos que apontem para a continuação do colonialismo.”

Argentina e Reino Unido voltaram a se enfrentar verbalmente nas últimas semanas, às vésperas do aniversário de 30 anos da Guerra das Malvinas, vencida pelos britânicos.
